List here. Although I have to question some of the choices, as it includes a number of my exceptionally dull college class textbooks.

I picked up this book when I was in the SF MOMA doing Verizon Research. It’s a list of laws and current examples of how to design interfaces and products. It’s intentionally condensed so it doesn’t take long to get through. At very least, it’s a good starting point for thinking about how to simplify and make sense of complex technology. You can borrow it when I finish.

Lawyers. Accountants. Computer programmers. That’s what our parents encouraged us to become when we grew up. But Mom and Dad were wrong. The future belongs to a very different kind of person with a very different kind of mind. The era of “left brain” dominance, and the Information Age that it engendered, are giving way to a new world in which “right brain” qualities-inventiveness, empathy, meaning-predominate.
Daniel H. Pink has created an interesting read in A Whole New Mind (Why Right-Brainers Will Rule the Future) that is both an uncommon and unique way to look at the way we think and create. In the book he presents exteneded chapters of information, ideas, and tools to help follow through with certain areas of creativity and improved thinking. It is one of the better, more unique books I have ever read and suggest it to everyone. Enjoy!
